Backpacking pushes participants to get out of their comfort zones and learn new skills while giving them the space to take ownership of the unique abilities and thoughts they bring to the group.
God did not create us to be independent creatures. Backpacking pushes participants to look out for and be dependent on one another. Our Bible studies and conversations are also designed to encourage spiritual and emotional vulnerability, and to expand our understandings of the world, God's word, and each other.
By studying scripture together, engaging in thoughtful and honest conversations, leading with mentorship, and building gospel-centered community, participants will gain some tools to self-reflect and grow into their personal relationships with God.
